The donation from OMRA to Survivorship,$500.00  became part of the fund helping the South Okanagan Medical Foundation in its drive to acquire a stereotactic digital mammography machine.  I have been told that this is a state of the art mammography machine that can locate tumours much more efficiently than the current machine in use.  This machine, when acquired, would be a valuable asset in diagnosing breast cancer in women and men.  Thanks again for the donation from OMRA.  Top picture is the cheque that Survivorship gave to help out with the digital mammorgraphy machine. http://www.survivorshipteam.org/  click on the newsletter page to find our association mentioned for helping out with this worthwhile cause.
